How professional qualifications work

Professional qualifications are awarded by independent bodies — such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPD, or CFA Institute — and recognised by employers as the benchmark standard in their field. XPP acts as a tuition provider, preparing you for the awarding body’s own examinations and assessments.

Awarding body framework

Each qualification is structured by its awarding body into a series of papers, units, or modules — typically arranged in levels (for example, Certificate, Professional, and Advanced for ACCA). You must pass each level before progressing to the next. The syllabus, pass mark, and examination schedule are all set by the awarding body, not XPP.

Tuition and study materials

XPP provides structured tuition — live classroom or online sessions, recorded lectures, and comprehensive study materials — tailored to each awarding body’s syllabus and exam style. Examinations

Examinations are set and marked by the awarding body and sit on their published timetable — typically two to four sittings per year for most qualifications. Some qualifications also include a workplace experience or ethics component (such as ACCA’s Practical Experience Requirement or CIPD’s reflective practice) that must be completed alongside the taught elements.
